Guide to effectively brief, quote, produce and deliver all branding using one template.

At Planit, we pride ourselves on making things that much easier with how we plan events. We’ve created some amazing templates and guides which we’re rolling out regularly, so watch this space or join the Planit community here to receive notifications.

In this template and guide you will be able to:

  • Effectively map out what branding you require

  • Share with potential suppliers when briefing to ensure exact costings, easy comparison and remove the chance of errors

  • When confirming your supplier, this then becomes your working document to be easily shared, containing all they need to work from including clear size requirements, stakeholders for approval and then on to final artwork and production.

So let’s dive into it, our Guide is broken down into simple columns to set you up for success when planning your event branding requirements.

Branding ID - You can chose to list these in anyway that suits you, A1, B1, 1,2,3 it doesn’t matter. What matters is having different ID’s to ensure that each piece of branding is tracked.

Location - Where is the branding going to be located? Stage, Entrance Window, Booth 13.

Type - Describe what type of branding you are looking for, banner, static, stage branding.

Additional info - This box is to describe the additional information, such as whether it’s to be a specific material, a certain cut, finish etc.

Size - Give the sizes or leave it blank if you are looking for the supplier to guide

Number - How many do you need.

Once you have finished the above, send this out to your supplier separately making it easy for them to return the Excel back with costings filled in and the deadlines for the job.

When quotes have been received, simply create additional columns and slot in all the supplier quotes for easy comparison.

When decided, this becomes your working document, making it easy to track the progress up to sign-off, production and delivery.

We hope you enjoy using our template as much as we do!
