Planit Live was founded in 2021 by Joseph Charlton, after over 15 years delivering events. From intimate gatherings to global conferences with 30,000 + attendees, he's seen the best (and worst) of the industry and still absolutely loves it. His mission was to create a people first agency, prioritising honesty, collaboration and care. 

We are a mighty team of event strategists, creatives and producers, based in Manchester but working worldwide. As an LGBTQ+ led business, we care deeply about creating spaces where everyone feels like they belong. We lead with joy and we don't do average.

Nancy is the calm force behind Planit’s operations, people care, and sustainable growth. Results-driven, values-led, and proudly Manchester-based, she keeps everything moving while making sure people come first.

With more than 16 years in live events, she’s delivered everything from global conferences to unforgettable awards and exhibitions. She’s known for delivering complex events with clarity and care and believes great live experiences come from meticulous planning and strong human connection. At Planit, she loves being part of a team who care just as much about the detail as the big picture.

With several years’ experience delivering large corporate events, Zara joined Planit for its people-first & caring culture. Known for her thoughtful mindset and steady problem-solving, no client request is ever too big. She’ll always find a way to make it work, with the customer experience at the heart of everything she does.

Ellie’s been in the industry 9 years ranging from in-house, venue and now agency. She loves the challenge of bringing people together, solving problems on the go, and making sure every event is memorable and impactful. Being in a place where transparency matters, teamwork is real, and people genuinely support each other makes all the difference.

With four years of experience across sport and live events, Rummanah brings a calm, people-first approach shaped by her own journey as a woman of colour in the industry. She cares about creating spaces that feel welcoming, intentional and reflective of the communities they serve, especially those often underrepresented. At Planit, she values the chance to bring that ethos into the live experiences she supports.
